How long will it take for my campaign materials and Street Team goods to arrive?
Requests for materials and Street Team goods are processed monthly. However, it’s not unusual for materials to take a little longer to arrive. Remember, mail delivery times vary with your location. If you need materials by a specific date, be sure to let us know when you place your request.

Write to us at Dishoom@petaindia.org, tell us what it is for and remember to include your postal address and telephone number. We’ll do our best to help you. Unless otherwise indicated, PETA materials are not copyrighted and may be reproduced freely for personal, non-commercial use. How do I find out if a certain product is tested on animals?
If you have a question about a specific company or product, it is best to start your search by checking out petaDishoom’s “Looking Good Cruelty-Free” page. You can also browse www.CaringConsumer.com.

How do I find out if something is vegan?
If you have a question about a specific ingredient, start your search here. Also check out petaDishoom’s “You Mean, That’s Vegan?” For even more suggestions, visit www.VegCooking.com.

I’m having trouble going vegan. My parents don’t support me. What can I do?
It’s great to hear that you’re interested in becoming vegan. Being vegan is the easiest way to help animals, yourself and the planet! Check out www.GoVeg.com for information about nutrition and veganism. There are also quick, easy vegan recipes in petaDishoom’s “Do It Yourself” section, and there is info about restaurants with great vegan options in our “Foodie” section. You can also check out our list of vegan goodies available in India in our “You Mean, That’s Vegan?” section.

As for your parents, millions have gone through this before, and we all have different stories to tell. Remember that you are not alone. Be firm and be strong – animals are depending on you. Let your parents know that being vegan is something that you are passionate and knowledgeable about. We believe any initial resistance you meet will start to fade away as your parents realise that you are serious about not eating animals. Tell them to visit www.MeetYourMeat.com if they have any questions. Good luck!

Can you tell me if there are any protests coming up in my area?
We regularly send out alerts to Street Teamers about demonstrations and other events in their local area. In order to receive these, you must sign up for the Street Team.
