Gather Petition Sign-Ups and Win

Getting people to sign a petition is a great way to engage people with an important message. Did you know that cattle, sheep, goats and other animals are typically crammed onto vehicles in such illegally high numbers on their way to slaughter in India that their bones often break and many die en route? You can help put an end to this illegal cruelty by joining our Street Team and then getting people to sign the petition below .

Plus, petition sign-ups allow us to get our monthly petaDishoom E-News with its message of animal rights out to sympathetic people again and again. Oh, yeah, and you can use it to earn great prizes! So grab some clipboards and pens, and start collecting e-mail addresses! It’s that easy. (Sorry! The prizes offered with this mission are only for people who live in India. If you live outside India, check out the missions you can do for cool prizes on peta2.com.) But first, read our tips for getting sign-ups here.  

Download and print as many copies of the petition as you need.

Once you’ve finished, be extra sure that you’ve officially joined our Street Team and send all the petitions you have collected to us at StreetTeamIndia@petaindia.org or to the address below. We’ll send them to the concerned Ministry while you earn the following great prizes:

Be sure all the sign-ups include the signer’s name and e-mail address. And, of course, be sure to tell us your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address in a cover sheet so that we can get your earnings to you. We will e-mail you to confirm your winnings.

Once you turn in your sign-ups for a prize, any new sign-ups you collect to send in are counted from zero.

And beware to the few of you who might be tempted to cheat – not only will you lose the petaDishoom goodies but you will also be banned for good from the Street Team by us and all animals!
